  Chef shows customers no respect:
  
  As is traditional for a sushi bar, I was given a hot towel at the start of my meal. After bringing it up to my face and finding it smelled strongly of mildew, I set the towel down. The sushi chef immediately removed it from my place setting. After giving him my order a few minutes later, I asked for another towel and before I was able to explain that the towel smelled strongly of mildew, he interrupted and strongly reprimanded me for asking for more than one towel.
  
  The fish is fresh, yes, but it is not worth a sushi chef who lacks any listening skills. I sincerely hope that he reads this and realizes that his arrogant demeanor does his business no favors.
  
  I play for the Carmel Bach Festival each year and have been happy with other sushi places. I find absolutely no need to return to an establishment where respect is not given to the customers.

  Our least favorite place in the Monterey Bay Region. We were yelled at by the chef and refused service. There are many good sushi places in the region. Go elsewhere.

  The service there was the worst ever. There were not so many customers (only one group and us, my husband and I) so I have asked to refill the green tea and the server yelled at me in Japanese.
  
  I had Chirashi and it was basically the same old American style Chirashi with a super expensive price. I had much better Chirashi in Lexington KY. It was a very much disappointment.
  
  I do not think I will never go there and I do not recommend anyone to go there.

  Fabulous sushi..... fish is fresh n th chef is very creative.
  It's a very small place so make a reservation. Best to get there early, they may run out of ur favorite.
